Book Rating ♥♥♥♥
The first book in The Arotas Trilogy.
The wedding of Rosaline to Romanian vampire and bad ass Vladimir, a controlling and abusive husband in which Rosaline vows to escape after he and his brother massacre her entire family and wedding guests, including her baby sister. She never asked to become immortal but it was thrust upon her nonetheless.
After 500 years of not so wedded bliss she carries out her plans for a normal life and escapes to America where she enrolls in the local elite prep school as her cover and begins her new life.
She is soon drawn to MVP quarterback Gabriel Marston a mere mortal. But she soon realizes after mysteriously blue glowing crosses appear on his arms, that he's not human, not immortal, but what?
The story line is great if your a vampire fan this will not disappoint. I'm anxious to read the 2nd book. The reason for the four heart rating, I just don't like short stories that end up being a series. But all in all I liked the book.
