Book Review - The Lost Highlander, Book 1
RT Rating °°°° 4 degrees
When grad student Evelyn, a Hoochie Mama's strip club cocktail waitress answers a dear friends desperate call, she travels to the beautiful Highlands of Scotland where she's met by the coldest weather on the earth and the hottest, sexier than hell hunk of a purebred Scotsman, Sam.
Her dear friend Piper, a free spirited slip of an American girl inherits a Scottish manor/village castle from her great grandmother, Fenella, whom she's never met. Not ever in her wildest dreams did she expect it to include a hot as hell, true bonified, ax bearing Scottish warrior, clear down to the kilt. From the past, the 1700s past.
The three friends are ensconced in a frantic search to find out how their lost highlander got there and how to get him back despite Piper's growing attraction to the blood stained house guest, Lachlan Fergusson.
With Evie's love for time travel romance books they set out determined to set history back on track and get Lachlan back to his time without rearranging the past especially since he's buried in the family crypt.
So many questions, so little time! Does Lachlan find his way home? Does Piper fall in love with her Highlander? What happens to the hot as hell Sam?
I'll give you this much, you'll definitely want more and you can't wait to read the second book, 'Reunited', in this series.
This book grabbed me from the beginning and falling in love with its real to life characters I couldn't put the tablet down.
